Hot N Cold To My Heart, Sugar!

Katy Perrys "Hot N Cold" mashed with an 8-bitversion of Kents "Socker", the original version of "Socker", BPAs "Superman", Taylor Daynes "Tell it to my heart" and with a beat from Armand Van Heldens "Still in love" to accompany the refrain.

I'll fly to the clouds above

Gigi d'Agostino is an italian producer/DJ. He released the single "L'Amour Toujours" in 2000. I think it is better known as "I'll fly with you", since that title would have coincided more with the lyrics... I remember how I hunted for the song some years ago without knowing either the artist or the track.

LMC released the track take me to the clouds above in 2004. I guess from the beginning it was a mashup between Whitney Houston's "How will i know" and U2's "With our without you", with u2s song together with some new instruments (drums etc.) providing the backingtrack for a part of Whitney Houstons track. However, I guess through legal issues, the song was released with Whitney Houstons vocals sung by another singer, called Rachel McFarlane. I think that technically makes the song a cover or something, it was relased with the artist credited as "LMC vs U2".

Here's my mash of the mash!

Right Single, Right Ladies

Norman Cook is a man of many names. I believe he has had most success under the pseudonym Fatboy Slim, which he seems to use mostly whilst making tracks in the big beat genre. The single "Right Here, Right Now" is from 1999.

Beyoncé started her carrier in the group Destinys Child but has since then had an I think even more successful solo carrier. The single "Single Ladies (put a ring on it)" was released in 2008 under the name Beyoncé (and sometimes her last name Knowles) but at the same time she seemed to want to be called Sasha Fierce, her on-stage alter ego (her album was also called "I am... Sasha Fierce"). Mash these name changers up and you get this:

Why I put the single lady on the left on the picture is a mystery.

Let me think about boogie

"Yes Sir, I can Boogie" from 1977 was baccaras first single. According to Wikipedia the duo had a pretty confusing time after their short chart success, with different careers using the same name. It gets so confusing that I don't know if the album cover I've mashed has the two singers actually singing on the track.

It is mashed with Fedde Le Grands club mix of "Let me think about it" by danish singer Ida Corr, released in 2007. Enjoy!
