Cry with me

The vocal track on this mashup is an acapella of Jay Z's "Song Cry" from 2001. For this mash his already pretty slow rap in the original version is slowed down just a tad more, I think it worked pretty well.

It is mashed with a french house song called "Dance with me" released in 2003. It's a track by The Phunk Phreaks and Doc Phatt, in remix by Horny United. The question is, if the song cried, would you dance to it?

If you like this backing track you can download the original song at the fantastic blog Let's bring back french house. That blog (as you might expect from the name) has a lot of really great tracks to download.

Here's the track!

I want your funky soul

There are allready severeal mashups on the internet featuring the 1980 one-hit-wonder "Funky Town" by Lipps Inc. However, I think this mix between that track and Armand Van Heldens "I want your soul" (2007) is funky enough to compete. On another note Armand Van Helden Samples Siedah Garret's "Do you want it right now" from 1985, which might be pretty obvious for people familiar with her. Anyways, here is the track!:

I like my brown eyed girl

My first post and my first mashup online! This is a mash between Van Morrisons 1967 hit "Brown eyed girl" and Bodyrockers 2005 dancetrack "I like the way (you move)", which I think was a hit in only parts of Europe.
